Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers in the community greatly support the YMCA. Volunteers play an active role on the Board of Management, in committees and fundraising, as coaches, referees, literacy tutors and office support.

Teen Community Service

Process for completing community service at the YMCA:

  1. Come to the Palomar YMCA Teen Center on Monday or Wednesday between 3:30 and 5:00pm
  2. Complete necessary paperwork and online child abuse prevention training
  3. Register in youth volunteer program
  4. Determine schedule of availability and set schedule for volunteering

youth community service is ONLY processed on Monday and Wednesday between 3:30 and 5:00pm
