Youth Sports (5+ years)

Our YMCA Youth Sports Program is dedicated
to improving sports skills while emphasizing fun, sportsmanship,
teamwork and the development of self-esteem.
We offer non-competitive sports for children and competitive sports seasonally for teens. All skill levels are welcome and everybody plays!
Understanding that every child has different skill levels, the referees are dedicated to explaining fouls before announcing them, and they concentrate on teaching methods that relate to each child's needs.
Attention: Once a player is registered, they will be assigned an assessment day and time.
Why do we have to attend assessments?
Assessments are not tryouts! Each player is put on a team. It is our goal during team selection to balance out age, height and skill. We run assessments to try to ensure league parity.
